We are happy to inform you about simplified and free e-visa procedure of entry to St-Petersburg region, Russia. 

Since October 1^st, 2019 citizens of 53 countries will be able to visit St-Petersburg and North-West region of Russia for tourism and short business meetings, only by filling an e-application for visa. 

E-visa is a single-entry visa, issued for 30 calendar days from the date of application. The permitted stay in the Russian Federation with an e-visa is up to 8 days starting from the date of entry, within its validity period. 

Invitations, hotel booking confirmations or any other documents, that confirm the purpose of your journey to the Russian Federation are not required for an e-visa. The time period for issuing an e-visa is no longer than 4 calendar days from the date of submission of the complete application.

The current exception is that these rules are valid only for limited number of regions, including St-Petersburg (but not including Moscow) and allow only to come with e-visa by air transport.
