On April 12 – 15, a team from the GloBAS Group visited the factory of Vmech S.c.a.r.l. in Vignola, Italy. It was the first international trip since the pandemic lockdown. The goal of the visit was to take a tour of the factory, to have training on VMech’s machining activities, discuss, face-to-face, current business opportunities, and further business perspectives.
Vmech S.c.a.r.l.is a leading company in the production of mechanical components and subassemblies, with a major footprint in the fields of power transmission, earth moving, and mining machines. Vmech ensures efficient supply chain management. This service also allows customers to delegate low-value activities and thus focus more on their core business.
The GloBAS Group became a sales representative of VMech in Russia and CIS half a year ago. Irina Voronkina says: “The Russian market has a huge potential for automotive, agriculture, mining, and heavy machinery market growth. It is often hard to find competent and knowledgeable engineering component manufacturers locally in Russia. We are certain that there will be a demand, among Russian manufacturers, for contract manufacturing in Italy.”
During the visit, Irina Voronkina, and Leyla Abbasova had a look at the production capacity of the factory, visited the quality control department of VMech in Modena, discussed with company management about potential business development on the Russian Market. The parties are planning their next visit to the VMech facilities in September with Russian customers.
